Assam Joint Admission Test is Conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam.

It is conducted for the candidates who aspire to take admission into the various Undergraduate Courses in the Engineering College, Medical College, Regional Dental College and Ayurvedic College in the state of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota)

The Entrance Test is conducted for the following courses:
B Tech
BE
BAMS
BDS
BHMS
BUMS
MBBS

Eligibility for Assam JAT

The candidate who is applying for the exam must complete 10+2 from a recognized board or university or from Assam higher secondary Education council with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age limit:

The candidate who is applying for an Assam CEE exam must have minimum 17 year old and maximum 21 years old.

Application fee:

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS Courses – Rs. 1140.00
For Engineering Degree Courses- Rs. 1140.00
For Both MBBS/BDS/BAMS and Engineering Courses- Rs. 1440.00

Exam Pattern

The Exam is conducted in 4 parts;

The first part is the exam of chemistry for 100 marks;
Physics Biology and Mathematics also conducted after it.

Each subject has 100 marks.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of candidate performance in Assam JAT Exam
