Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences conducts state level entrance exam i.e. Assam Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam for admission into postgraduate programmes in the Medical colleges of Assam

Eligibility Criteria

The aspirant who wants to take an Assam pg medical entrance exam should be Indian and also should belongs to Assam state.

Candidate should have passed MBBS and test takers with minimum percentage.

And the other state students can also apply for this exam where 75% reservation will be for Assam students and the remaining 25% for non local students.


Selection Process

Selection process is totally depend upon the test takers performance. If the aspirant meet the cut off given by the university then he/she will be selected in the exam.


Exam Pattern

The test is online based test. It is multiple choice type questions and it may complete in 2-3 hours.

For every right answer there is one mark and for wrong answer there is no negative marks.

The exam pattern will be somewhat similar as other medical post graduation exams.
