Hey buddy Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) also known as Assam TET is an exam conducted by the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)

This exam is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (Class I-V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Assam

Well the notification for the date of the exam for the TET has not been declared by the Government of Assam Department of School Education but as soon as the date is declared you will be updated just be active on the portal


Eligibility for the TET Exam

You should possess following educational qualification.

Your age should not be above 38 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ ST candidates.


Hindi Teacher:

Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university or B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T/ B. Ed. degree from any recognized University/ Institutions

Sanskrit Teacher:

Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized University/ Institutions for S.No- 2.

You will be selected based on test and interview.
