As you wants to Apply for the Assam TET Exam let me tell you that Assam TET Exam of the year 2016 is Over the Exam is Conducted in the month of March Here I am Sharing with you some information about the Assam TET Exam that may be Useful for you


Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

Hindi teacher

The candidates interested in applying for this post are required to have acquired a Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with at least 50 per cent marks,

having a degree qualification from any recognised university or B.A with Hindi as one of the subjects with 50 per cent marks

and B.T/ B. Ed. degree from any recognised university/institution.

Sanskrit teacher:
The candidates interested in applying for this post are required to have acquired a Shastri with at least 50 per cent marks, having degree qualification from any recognised university

or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50 per cent marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognised university/institution.

Age limit:

The candidates applying for the post should not be more than 38 years

Selection process:
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their scores obtained in the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test).

Exam pattern:

The exam will consist of 100 MCQs, carrying one mark each. Questions will be based on general studies and current affairs and they shall be subject specific.

Minimum qualifying marks for passing TET:

To qualify in TET Examination, the candidate must score at least 60 per cent marks. However, 5 per cent relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD category.
