The graduate school management at Aaruhs University (AU) has the overall responsibility for the graduate school and the education of PhD students within the schools research fields.

PhD Health course details:

The duration of PhD studies corresponds to three years of full time studies.

Before you get your PhD degree you need to complete these mandatory elements:

A health science research project under supervision
Participation in PhD courses (30 ECTS credits)
Teaching experience (150 hours)
Participation in one or more journal clubs
A stay in another research environment, preferably abroad (duration at least one month)
Participation in the annual PhD day twice
A PhD dissertation at an international level

PhD Admission criteria

To qualify for admission to the 3-year programme (5+3), the applicant must have completed a relevant Masters programme based on at least 5 (five) years of full-time studies (or have equivalent qualifications).

To qualify for admission to the integrated PhD programme, the applicant must be able to document completion of the Bachelors and Masters degree programme elements (course work) which have been finished so far.
