Andhra University, Visakhapatnam conducts Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) for admission into various Science, Arts, Engineering and Law Courses offered in Campus Colleges of Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, P.G. Centres, and Colleges affiliated to AU & BRAU offering P.G. Courses.

AUCET 2016 Notification:-


Apply online at website from 09-03-2016 to 21-04-2016

Last Date for submission of online Applications with late fee of Rs.1000/- : 25-04-2016

Downloading Hall-Tickets from website: 02.05.2016

Date of Publication of Results:- 21-05-2016

AUCET 2016 General Eligibility:-

One applying from other recognized Universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science courses only if they possess a three year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 1 1+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified.

One who acquired Bachelor Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P.G. Courses, subject to submission of residence certificate.

Bachelor Degrees of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com /B. A. Litt and B.L. from Universities other than AP should be recognized by the respective University as equivalent thereto.

The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering Courses offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying exam unless or otherwise specified.

For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (Part II) is sufficient.

The requirement for Arts, Commerce and Law courses is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects.

The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST Candidates).
