Andhra University Common Entrance Test AUCET is conducted by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for admission in for admissions into M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., M.H.R.M., M.J.M.C., M.L.ISc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M.Tech, M.Sc 5-Year Integrated Course in Geology and M.A. 5-Year Integrated course in Economics courses.

AUCET Eligibility Criteria

For admission into PG Arts and Science courses –
Three-year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified

Candidates must be Bachelor Degrees of BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A.Litt and the respective Universities should recognise B.L from Universities other than AP as equivalent thereto

For admission into all Science and Engineering Courses -
Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying exam unless or otherwise specified. For SC & ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in-group subjects (Part II) is sufficient

For Arts, Commerce and Law courses –
Pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in-group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying exam and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects. The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST Candidates)

The Maximum eligible age for obtaining scholarship in respect of SC/ST and BC is 34 years and in respect of EBC/Minorities/Disabled is 30 years for PG and above courses

AUCET Exam Pattern

Total number of questions will be 100 and candidates will get 90 minutes to solve those questions

Every question will contain four alternatives among which they need to mark the right answer

Candidates are required to mark the appropriate answer of questions in OMR sheet only

They are not allowed to mark the answer on the test booklet

AUCET paper consists of 90 questions, which are three parts.

Part A contains 40 questions, Part B contains 30 questions and Part C contains 20 questions

Each correct answer carries one mark while every wrong answer will have a deducation of 1/4 mark

AUCET Registration Fees

Registration Fees for AUCET application form will be Rs.350/- but in case of late payment charges will be Rs.1000/-.

Payment of fee has to be done through Demand Draft in favour of the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Andhra Pradesh University and Payable at Visakhapatna
