Avalon University School of Medicine (AUSOM) is a type of private medical school. It was established in the year 200. It is located in Willemstad, Curaçao. It was previously known as Xavier University School of Medicine. AUSOM was founded in 2003 in Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles. In the year 2010, it was relocated to Curacao and changed its name to Avalon University School of Medicine to differentiate itself from other universities with the same name.
