Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) is a state funded college established in 1920 and offered undergrad, bosses and doctorate level degrees. ASOA worked in Engineering and Science fields.

In 1999, Robinson's Bijan Fazollahi gotten a grant from the U.S. Express Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to build up a MBA program at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) in Baku. The ASOA's MBA program filled the void for cutting edge business training. The program was educated in English principally by nearby workforce.
