I am giving you some details about the course

Duration:

The minimum duration of the programme is of 2 years. However, the maximum
period allowed for completion of the programme will be of 5 years.

Eligibility:

Applicants with at least 50% of marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in
the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity,
Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and
Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification are eligible for admission
to the programme.

The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed.

Trained in-service teachers in elementary education or

Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education
programme through face-to-face mode

The reservation and easing in marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD
and other classes shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State
Government, whichever is applicable

There shall be relaxation of 5% of marks in favour of SC/ST/Kashmiri Migrant
and other categories of candidates, if any, as per Govt. of India Rules

The applicant should submit their application form only at the nearby Regional
Centre

Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test
conducted by IGNOU.

The applicant will have to submit the filled in application form with attested copy
of required documents
