Purvanchal University, Jaunpur renamed as Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) in honour of late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh former CM of the state. It is one of the emerging as one of the leading Universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh.


Started with 68 affiliated college now has widened to 367 affiliated to UG & PG in 5 districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. It conducts Entrance Exam for admission to 2-year Bachelors in Education (B. Ed) course. One will get admission by Merit List on their graduation marks.
