Pune University BA third year English syllabus (i) Compulsory English (a) Objectives 1. To develop the communicative skills of the students and thereby develop their proficiency in English language. 2. To develop competence among the students for self-learning. 3. To encourage and enable the students to read the various types of texts on their own and discuss them among peers.
