Bank of Maharashtra recruits clerks every year on the basis of the clerk common written exam CWE conducted by IBPS. The Candidates who possess a valid IBPS CWE score card on behalf of their qualifying status are only eligible to apply for the Clerk Vacancies given by the bank. Candidates who cleared the exam are required to appear for the interview. Selection Procedure: IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam: The common written exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking personnel section (IBPS) which is accepted by 19 banks for recruiting Clerks. The qualified candidates will be issued a score card and it is valid for one year from the date of issuing. Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, the bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high score in the common written exam for Personal Interview. Interview Marks: The total marks for Personal Interview is of 50. The minimum qualifying marks for the General Candidates is 40% and for reserved category candidates is 35% (SC/ST/ OBC/PWD) Final Selection: The selection to the post of Clerk is entirely based on the total weighted score obtained in the common written exam and the marks obtained in personal Interview. |
