Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post Graduates (OCES) is the top program of the BARC Training Schools for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates.

The Program aims to ensure that the Trainee Scientific Officers (TSOs) are provided with the necessary facilities and opportunities to acquire knowledge and develop skills in R&D pertaining to Nuclear Science & Technology.

The course comprises of foundation, core, advanced and elective courses, mini-projects etc. in several disciplines.

The course work consisting of classroom lectures, practical training and project work, is organized into three trimesters and is completed in 1 year commencing on 1st August every year.
