Enter the CFA Program 2. Study and pass the CFA exams 3. Fulfill experience requirements 4. Join CFAI as charter member 1. Enter the CFA Program To enter the CFA program and take the first (Level 1) exam you have Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Good Command of English 2. Study and Pass the CFA Exams The CFA Program is a graduate level coursework that includes self-studying of 1o topics relevant to the investment field: 1. Ethical and Professional Standard 2. Quantitative Methods 3. Economics 4. Financial Reporting and Analysis 5. Corporate Finance 6. Equity Investments 7. Fixed Income 8. Derivatives 9. Alternative Investments 10. Portfolio Management and Wealth Planning. 3. Fulfill Experience Requirements Before getting your charter, you need to complete 4 years of relevant experience. 4. Join CFA Institute as Charter Member After passing the CFA exam and fulfilling the experience requirement, you have to join CFA Institute as a charter member to call yourself a CFA. Successful candidates take an average of four years to earn their CFA charter: The exams for Levels I, II, and III are offered annually, in June. The Level I exam is also offered again in December. You can retake each exam until you pass. You must have 48 months of qualified work experience. |
