Re: Benefit Solutions Bank Of America

As you have asked about the Benefit solutions services offered by Bank of America, I am giving you information about it, check below for the details

It offers following under it:
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Health Savings Account (HSA)

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-advantaged savings account available to taxpayers in the United States who are enrolled in a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP).
An HSA offers tax savings in three ways:

Contributions can be made before taxes
Funds earn tax-free interest
Withdrawals are not taxed, as long as the expense is for a qualified health care item or service

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

A Health FSA is a reimbursement arrangement established by Bank of America
It allows employees to set aside pre-tax money on an annual basis to pay for qualified medical expenses incurred during that year.
Health FSAs may be offered in conjunction with any type of health insurance plan or as a stand-alone program.
With a Health FSA, employees can use pre-tax money to pay for certain health care expenses which are not covered by other plans. Benefits from the Health FSA are tax-free to the extent that they are for qualified health care expenses.
