JEE Main Exam Pattern

Mode of Examination:
Paper-I will be held in both :
Computer Based (CBT) mode
Pen and Paper Mode (P&P).

Candidates will have to choose the option for the mode of examination during the registration.

Language:
English and Hindi language.

Time Limit:
Three (3) hours

Sections:
Physics,
Chemistry
Mathematics

Question Type:
There will 30 question in each section
Multiple Choice Type.

Marking Scheme:
Four marks will be awarded for marking the correct answer
For marking the incorrect answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.

JEE Main Exam Pattern – Paper II (For B.Arch/B.Planning)

Mode:
Only be available in offline mode.

Sections:
Mathematics,
Aptitude Test,
Drawing.

Questions:
Aptitude and Mathematics section will carry 40 and 30 MCQ’s, respectively.

Drawing section will consist of 7 questions
(candidates will have to attempt any two.)
