I want to get admission in distance learning M.Ed in Bharathiar University so can you please provide me the details of admission?

Bharathiar University is a state university located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, South India. The university was established in February 1982 under the provision of Bharathiar University Act, 1981. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

Distance Learning M.Ed program

The M.Ed. Programme offered by the School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University is a two year Master Degree course offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) System

It is recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB)-UGC, New Delhi.

The M.Ed programme has an annual intake of 250.

Duration-

Minimum period to complete the M.Ed. programme : 2 years

Maximum period to complete the programme : 4 years

Eligibility-

B.Ed. with fifty percent of marks (50%)

Two years teaching/professional experience after completion of B.Ed. programme in a Government /Government recognized school / NCTE recognized Teacher Education/Research Institution in Education.

Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Controller of Examinations, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641046.

Application Form-

The prospectus and application form can be obtained from the School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University by submitting a Demand Draft from any of the Nationalised Bank for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of
the Director, School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore payable at Coimbatore.

The amount can also be paid by Bank of India, Karur Vaisya Bank and SBI challans towards the cost of the application form.

The application form and prospectus can also be obtained from the M.Ed. PCP Centres situated within Tamilnadu by paying Rs.750/- in cash

The prospectus and application form can also be obtained by post from the Director, School of Distance Education, Coimbatore – 641 046 by submitting a request with a Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank, Challan of Bank of India,
Karur Vaishya Bank and SBI for 750/- and a self
addressed Rs.50/- stamped 35 x 25 size envelope.
