The last date of filling up of the application form was February 29, 2016, and it was extended to March 5, 2016.

BHU B Sc Hons Bio Exam Date was April 24, 2016 (3 P.M to 5.30 P.M) and the date has been changed to June 2, 2016.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification:
• One must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum
aggregate of 50% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry plus any one of
the following: Biology, Geology and Geography.

• One must have passed in each of the concerned three subjects and
should be supported with the Certificate issued by the Examining body.

• One appearing at the qualifying exam can also apply.

• SC/ST candidates: For SC/ST candidates, there is no minimum
aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying exam except that they must
have passed the qualifying exam.

• OBC and PC candidates: For OBC and PC candidates, there is a
relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

Age:

• One should be born on or after 1st July 1994 and should not be more
than 22 years on 1st July 2016.

• For SC/ST and PC categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years in upper
age limit.

• For OBC category, there is a relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit.


B.Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group Exam Pattern

Duration: 2 ½ hours duration.

It will contain 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 450 marks, 50 each.

The question paper will be of +2 Examinations or equivalent.

Each question will carry 3 marks and for each wrong answer one mark shall be deducted while the un attempted question will be awarded zero mark.
