Will you please provide the detailed information about the BETET conducted by Bihar School Examination Board ?

Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the government of Bihar to pursue teacher’s job in schools by all the B.Ed qualified applicants.

Eligibility Crirteria:-
For class I to V – Applicants must possess senior secondary along with 45% marks. Applicants having degree of B.A/ B.Sc with mimimum 50%marks and B.Ed Qualification can also apply for Bihar TET.

For class VI to VIII - Applicants must possess D.Ed/ B.A/ B.Sc with minimum 45% marks and passed B.Ed with 50% marks are eligible for applying.

Topics involved in Paper I and Paper II are as follows:-
Paper I:-
• Child Development and Pedagogy
• Environment Studies
• Language-I (Malayalam/ Kannada/ Tamil)
• Language-II (English/ Arabic)
• Mathematics

Paper II:-
• Language-I
• Language-II
• Child Development and Pedagogy

(a) Science & Mathematics
(b) Social Studies

Paper Pattern
Paper constitutes 150 Multiple Choice Question each of one mark.

Bihar TET Exam Dates
BETET exam is scheduled to be held in the month of July/ August every year.
