Biodiesel Plant, IIT Bombay
Project ‘Biosynth’ is a first ever student’s initiative of installing a self sustained Biodiesel producing plant at an institute level in India.

Biosynth is an initiative taken by the Chemical Engineering department faculties and students, which will provide hands on experience to build a biodiesel plant inside IIT Bombay campus.

Uses:
The biodiesel produced will be utilized to run institute vehicles like buses, cars, and ambulance in the initial stages.
