Integrated M Sc Medical Biotechnology program at SMIMS, SMU, is a 5-year program. It offers education in chemistry, cell biology, molecular and medical genetics, computer applications, biostatistics, medical biochemistry - anatomy- physiology- microbiology – pathology, animal tissue culture, molecular biology, bioinformatics, immunology and vaccine, recombinant DNA technology, stem cell and regenerative medicine, etc.

The eligibility requirement for Integrated M Sc Medical Biotechnology program as offered by Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences of Sikkim Manipal University is as follows:

One must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry , Biology/Biotechnology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB for General Caste & 45 % for candidates belonging to SC,ST & OBC.
