BITSAT Allotment

BITSAT 2016 Seat Allotment is based on a very supple system that accommodates all admission related allotments including second semester admission, dual degree, admission with advanced standing, transfer, etc.

BITSAT 2016 Seat Allotment (computerized) is programmed to allot seats according to merit list of BITSAT 2016 and the preference of candidate.

During the seat allotment procedure, system considers the first preference of the candidate for allotment, subject to availability of the seats.

BITSAT 2016 Counselling cum Allotment – Stages

The counselling for BITSAT 2016 is alienated into proper stages for filling up the seats into the UG engineering courses for the session 2016-17.

The procedure for the counselling:

i. Initially, the candidates were required to fill up an application form.

In the application form, the candidates are required to fill in their choices for the courses and the campuses.

ii. The announcement of the admission assignment for the first iteration.

iii. The announcement of admission and waiting list after the first Iteration.

iv. The selected candidates are essential to pay the admission fee.

v. If seats are vacant, then the next iteration will be held for allotment of seats and the procedure will continue.
