BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is being conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for granting admissions to various Integrated First Degree Programs of Engineering in the university.

Announcement About BITSAT Change of Date

BITS Admission Office has issued a notice regarding the change of test centre/date.

It says that ,during the first week of May, a link would be provided on the BITSAT website through which a candidate facing genuine problems like clash with the date of other exams., could request for a change of date of BITSAT.

These requests would be processed by a special committee. The candidates so permitted, would be required to come to BITS Pilani/Goa/Hyderabad campus and take the BITSAT test on allotted date.

Exam pattern:

The examination paper will come in computer based test format.
Candidates can choose their examination Centre as per their convenience.
Examination will be conducted for 3 hours.
There will be total 150 MCQs on Physics, General English, Chemistry and Math/ Biology subjects.
For each correct answer, candidate will be rewarded 3 marks and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Important dates for exam:

The beginning date for online registration – Third week of December 2016
Dead line for gettingreceipt of application – Third week of February 2017
The date for getting examination’s date and Centre – First half of March 2017
Hall ticket will be uploaded from – Second half of April 2017
Date of the examination – Second half of May 2017
Session will be started from – Last week of June 2017
