I’m unable to tell you about the number of attempt a student can fight for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) but I will get details of exam and please stay here I will get updates related to attempt. Eligibility Applicants should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam (from any state or central board of school education) with 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. They also need to have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects. Proficiency in English is another requirement for appearing in BITSAT 2017. Only those candidates, who are appearing in class 12th in the year 2017 or have cleared 12th in 2016, are eligible for BITSAT 2017. Top rankers or candidates with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India will be offered admissions to the programmes of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT 2017, but must meet the aforesaid eligibility criteria. Exam pattern BITSAT Exam Pattern 2017 – The exam pattern of BITSAT 2017 specifies about various aspects of the entrance exam like marking scheme, type of questions, time duration, total number of questions, subjects, sections, etc. Time duration of BITSAT 2017: 3 hours (without break) Type of questions: Objective in nature Total number of questions: 150 Sections: 4 sections – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV Sections Subjects Number of questions Part I Physics 40 Part II Chemistry 40 Part III (a) English Proficiency 15 (b) Logical Reasoning 10 Part IV Mathematics 45 Total 150 Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks, while every incorrect answer will fetch -1 mark or 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. For unattempted questions, the examinees will be given no marks or zero marks. Note: In case the candidates answer all 150 questions within the given time of 3 hours (without skipping any question) can attempt an additional 12 questions (four each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry only).
