BITSAT OBC Cutoff
I am planning to take admission in Birla Institute of Technology and Science and for this I know I have to appear in BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). Will you tell BITSAT Cutoff for OBC students and also provide last year cut off for pilani campus? BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) 2016 is being conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for granting admissions to various Integrated First Degree Programs of Engineering in the university. BITSAT OBC Cut Off Details: The OBC students have to get at least 50% cut off marks to attend the BITSAT entrance exam. But, the SC and ST students can get 45% and more for appearing BITSAT entrance exam. Last year cut off for Pilani campus for different engineering branches: B.E.(Hons.): Chemical 315 B.E.(Hons.): Civil 312 B.E.(Hons.): Electrical & Electronics 362 B.E.(Hons.): Mechanical 345 B.E.(Hons.): Manufacturing 308 B.Pharm.(Hons.) 214 B.E.(Hons.): Computer Science 378 B.E.(Hons.): Electronics & Instrumentation 340 M.Sc.(Hons.): Biological Sciences 299 M.Sc.(Hons.): Chemistry 307 M.Sc.(Hons.): Economics 326 M.Sc.(Hons.): Mathematics 324 M.Sc.(Hons.): Physics 319 Exam Pattern of BITSAT 2016: The exam will be held online. It will be of 3 hours. There will be four sections of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & Logical Reasoning. Physics and Chemistry section will have 40 questions each but in the Mathematics section, there will be 45 questions. Apart from this, 15 and 10 question will be asked in the English and Logical Reasoning section, respectively. Hence, there will be 150 questions in totality and candidates will have to solve them all. For each right answer, 3 marks will be awarded, and for each wrong answer, negative marking of 1 mark will be done.
