The eligibility requirement and some other details for PCS (Provincial Civil Services) offered by BPSC – Bihar Public Service Commission are as follows: BPSC Eligibility Criteria Age Criteria: One who wants to apply for BPSC exam should be in between 19 years to 24 years. Relaxation in the age will provide according to the categories as per the government norms. Academic Qualification: One must have a Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Chemical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Economics/ Geology/ Natural Science/ Mechanical Engineering. BPSC CCC Pre Exam Pattern The Bihar PSC CCC Mains Exam consists of four papers. The exam pattern for Bihar PSC CCE Exam 2016 is mentioned in detail below. 1. Hindi. 2. General Studies. 3. First Optional Paper. 4. Second Optional Paper. Exam Pattern for Hindi Paper: • The Hindi paper for the Bihar PSC CCC Mains exam is of objective type. • Minimum marks to pass the Hindi paper are 30 marks. • Extra marks in Hindi will not be added in total marks. Exam Pattern for General Studies Paper: • General Studies subject has two papers as Paper – I and Paper – II. • There are three sections in both of the General Studies paper. • There are 12 questions in each paper. • The questions may be asked from Modern History of India & Indian Culture, Statical Analysis, Graphs & Diagrams, Indian Polity, Indian Economy & Geography, etc. • The General Studies paper is for 400 marks. Each paper is of 200 marks. • Duration of the exam is 6 hours. Main Examination: Main examination contains the subjective type questions from any two optional papers as selected by the candidates for this purpose. List of subjects are given below. Optional Subjects (Any 2): Candidates may choose any two subjects from these subjects: Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Physics Chemistry Civil Engineering Geology Statistics Zoology Economics Agriculture Exam Pattern for Optional Paper: • The Optional Subject Paper is divided into two papers namely Paper – I and Paper – II. • Each paper is of 200 marks. |
