BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited operates and manage the optical fiber lines and telephonic service to its large number of customer Pan-India.

So it requires some assistant in spreading out lines and maintenance of the same if problem arise.

For that purpose various telecom technical assistants are require to help out the junior telecom officers in various circles.

Their responsibility is on the spot and in ethical manner they are lowest position to handle the technical defaults.

Salary

INR 290,000- INR 350,000 with an annual average salary of INR 310,000

HRA or Housing Rate Allowance:

Cities with population HRA Rates
Less than five lakh 10 percent of basic pay
5 Lakh to 50 lakh 20 percent of basic pay
50 lakh and above 10 percent of basic pay

Eligibility required for BSNL TTA:-

Three Years Engineering Diploma in

- Telecommunications Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Radio Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Instruments Technology
- Information Technology.

M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized institution /university.

Age Limit:-
Candidates aged between 18 and 27 years of age are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:-

•For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes up to 5 years
•For OBC Candidates up to 3 years

BSNL TTA Exam Paper Pattern:-

There shall be only one Paper of multiple choice objective type of three hours duration.

Part- I - General Ability Test - 20 marks
Part- II Basic Engineering - 90 marks
Part- III Specialization - 90 marks

Total number of Questions in the paper would be 200 and each question shall carry one mark.

The standard of paper in General Ability test will be such as may be expected of an Engineering Diploma holder.
The standard of papers in other subject will approximately be that of Diploma level of an Indian Polytechnic.

There will be negative marking for each wrong one,25% of mark of that question shall be deducted

Selection Procedure:-

Selection will be through a Competitive Examination.
The TTA cadre being an SSA based cadre, selection will be based on Merit of the concerned SSA only, followed by a medical test, Pre-appointment formalities etc.
Posting will be given subject to successful completion of training.
