Bank of Baroda, Hong Kong extends Buyer’s Credit in USD and all major currencies like EUR, GBP, JPY and HKD as Short Term Finance for Payment of Imports into India against Letter of Undertaking from Importer’s Banks in India.

Finance under Buyers’ Credit can be extended for a period not exceeding 1 year from the date of shipment for non capital goods

Not exceeding 3 years from the date of shipment for capital goods.

For import of capital goods by Infrastructure companies, permissible period is upto 5 years.
