PGAT (Post Graduate Admission Test) 2017 will be conducted by University of Allahabad for Admission to various Post Graduate courses. Allahabad University PG Admission will be made according to PGAT merit List subject to fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

Post Graduate Admission Test 2017 will be 3 hours for MA and M. Sc courses (1.30 hours for each subject) and of 1:30 hours for M.Com, MA/M. Sc., Mass Communication.

Additional 15 minutes will be given for the distribution of booklets and filling up the entries on the cover page of the answer booklet of each subject.

There shall be combined questions booklets each for MA and M. Sc course. There shall be separate question papers for M.A/M. Sc. Anthropology, M.Com, M.Sc. Bio-Chemistry, M.Sc. Computer Science and M. Sc Agricultural Sciences, M.A. mass Communication.

The question papers shall consist of separate question papers of 300 marks for each subject covered under the above mentioned courses i.e. MA and M.Sc.

The question papers of M.Com., MA, M.Sc. Anthropology, M. Sc Biochemistry, M.Sc. Agricultural Sciences, M.Sc. Computer Science and MA Mass Communication shall also be of 300 marks each. The pattern of questions papers will be uniform for all subjects.
