Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conduct CA CPT exam it is an entry level exam for pursue CA professional course .

CAT Exam is held twice every year in the months of June and December , students can give this exam after class XII.

CA CPT Exam Pattern

Duration of exam : Four hour .

Mode of examination – Objective

Total Marks – 200

No. of Questions – 200

Questions from :
Fundamentals of Accounts,
Mercantile Law,
General Economics
Quantitative aptitude.

CPT exam is divided into two sessions containing 100 questions in each.

Session I:
Out of the 100 questions from Session I:
60 are from fundamental Of Accounts
40 from Mercantile Law.
Each right answer carries 1 mark each
For every wrong answer ¼ mark gets deducted.

Session II
50 questions from General Economics
50 from Quantitative Aptitude
Total of 100 questions.

Exam timings :
Session I (10.00 am to 12.00 am)
Session II (2.00pm to 4.00pm)
