CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is conducted by the six IIMs as a national level entrance test in selecting students for their business administration program at the Masters level. Apart from IIMs

Eligibility Criteria :

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) / Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions

Examination pattern :

Quantitative Aptitude (QA) having 34 questions
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) with 32 questions
Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC) with 34 questions

Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks.

An incorrect answer fetches -1.

No marks are given or deducted for un-attempted questions.
