University of Calcutta is a public state university located in Kolkata West Bengal and it was established on 24 January 1857.

University of Calcutta Admission PhD in Commerce:

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed Post graduate degree in Commerce with at least 50% marks.

Selection Process:
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of Admission Test of 50 marks and interview of 50 marks by the university.
• Written test shall consist of Research proposal (in about 1000 words) - 30 marks and Short essay (in about 600 words) on any topic of contemporary relevance in the field of management, finance or accounting.

Application Fee and Mode of Payment:
Candidates are requested to deposit application fee of Rs.100 either by cash or demand draft through duly filled in C.U. Challan, endorsed by the Head of the Department
