UPSC conducts CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) AC Examination for the posts of Assistant Commandants. This composed examination will be calendar to enroll the qualified competitors in Group An (Assistant Commandants) in CAPF comprises of BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.

Qualification Criteria

The hopefuls must be a subject of India.

Male/female both are qualified to apply for the posts of Assistant Commandants in CRPF, CISF, SSB, BSF. However female competitors are not qualified to apply for ITBP.

The competitors must have a Bachelor's degree from a perceived college.

The applicants probably matured in the vicinity of 20 and 25 as on first August 2017.

The applicants need to have the base physical benchmarks said in the official notice.

UPSC CAPF 2017 Application Form

Examination Pattern

The composed examination comprises of two papers-

General capacity and insight This paper will have MCQ sort questions. The question paper will be accessible both in English and Hindi. The aggregate stamp will be 250.

General reviews, exposition and appreciation In this paper the applicants will have the alternative of composing part either in Hindi or English. The medium of composing may be English for Precis, cognizance, other dialect aptitudes. The most extreme imprints for this paper will be 200.

Determination Procedure

Determination of competitors in CAPF AC will finish in three phases. The applicants need to qualify these phases for conclusive choice Written examination, Physical and Medical principles Tests and Physical effectiveness test (PET) and PI.
