Tentative dates Issue of advertisement & application form 2nd week March 2017 Date of closure of the application form 2nd week April 2017 Date of the Exam Last week June 2017 Announcement of result September 2017 Interviews/ Personality test November 2017 Application fee: Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) can be deposit through online payment or by cash at SBI bank. UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern: Written test consist of two papers. The objective question paper, will be in English and Hindi, and contain the questions on Mental Ability, Current Affairs, History of India, Science, Indian Politics & Economy etc. Paper 1: Held between 10 am to 12 pm. This paper 1 is for 250 marks and will be a Mental Ability & Intelligence Test. Paper 2: Held between 2 pm to 5 pm. For 200 marks & will be a General Study, Essay & Comprehension Test. Eligibility Only Indian citizens can apply Both Male and Female aspirants are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF, CISF, SSB and BSF. However, appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants in ITBP is not meant for the female candidates Bachelor’s / Graduate degree from a recognized institute is an essential educational requirement The age of the applicant should lie between 20 – 25 years Candidates will have to possess the minimum physical standards as to be specified in the official notification. Selection Procedure Selection of the candidates for the CAPF 2016 recruitment shall be done on the basis of the following: Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test. Aspirants should be able to qualify in all these stages, however, admission to them will be purely provisional. |
