The Central Armed Police Forces Examination was conducted successfully on 26 June 2016.

The Result of Written Exam of CAPF is declared in the month of August/September.

The exam is conducted for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Force composing of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Norder Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates applying for UPSC CAPF Recruitment will be done on basis of their performance in:
Written Examination
Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests
Interview/Personality Test
Final Selection / Merit

Qualification:
Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree with good academic records of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Age Limit:

Age of candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 25 years

Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 200/-
No application fee for Female/SC/ST candidates
