Re: Cat Exam Date And Syllabus

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is conducted by the six IIMs as a national level entrance test in selecting students for their business administration program at the Masters level.

Eligibility:
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) / Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities

Here I’m giving you expected dates for CAT:

Official notification expected to be released around 25 July 2016

Online Registration to commence in 1st week of August 2016

Last date to fill and submit the application form third week of September 2016

Admit card to be made available for download in last week of October 2016 till

Admit card can be downloaded till the date of the exam

CAT 2016 to be held in last week of November 2016

Declaration of result 1st week of January 2017

1. Verbal & Reading Comprehension
This section will comprise of 34 questions, divided into 2 parts, Reading Comprehension and English Usage.
