Cat Exam Is Subjective Or Objective
Hello sir, I’m preparing for CAT exam. I want to know that Cat Exam Is Subjective Or Objective? As per my idea the Cat Exam is Objective. Questions will be asked in cat exam are objective. The CAT exam pattern was changed drastically. Online calculator and type in the answer questions were introduced. Along with the objective type questions, the candidates were required to type in the answers for certain questions. Not much of typing was involved but they were required to re-write the sentences, write the sentences in the correct sequence and write options in the sequence etc. Each section comprised of both multiple choice questions (MCQs) and TITA questions. The candidates will have to type the answers of the TITA questions using the keyboard and mark the options of the objective type questions using the mouse. Common Admission Test held successfully in two sessions (forenoon and afternoon) on Sunday, November 29. This year IIM Ahmedabad was the conducting body for CAT. As per IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT exam pattern was entirely different. Exam pattern: Sections: 3 – Quantitative Ability Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning Verbal and Reading Comprehension Number of Questions 100 Quantitative Ability – 34 Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning - 32 Verbal and Reading Comprehension – 34 Duration 180 minutes Sectional Duration 1 hour for each section Question Types Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Non-MCQs Calculator Usage On Screen basic calculator will be provided Marking Scheme For Non-MCQs, +3 marks for ‘correct answer’ No marks(or negative marks) for ‘wrong or no attempt’. The scoring scheme for multiple-choice questions (MCQ's) is: +3 for correct answer -1 for incorrect answer No marks are given or deducted for un-attempted questions.
