Here I’m telling you some tips Keep your syllabus in kind and go through it Collect all reference books for CAT which you think is good Try to Practice question paper as much as you can. Prepare notes of important topics from the syllabus Take rest for 15 minutes after every hour Try to take online Mock Test for this exam Eligibility The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) / Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities Syllabus Quantitative Ability Number Systems LCM and HCF Percentages Profit, Loss and Discount Interest (Simple and Compound) Speed, Time and Distance Time and Work Averages Ratio and Proportion Linear Equations Quadratic Equations Complex Numbers Logarithm Progressions (Sequences & Series) Binomial Theorem Surds and Indices Inequalities Permutation and Combination Probability Functions Set Theory Mixtures and Alligations Geometry Co-ordinate Geometry Trigonometry Mensuration Data Interpretation Tables Column Graphs Bar Graphs Line Charts Pie Chart Venn Diagrams Caselets Verbal Ability Vocabulary Based (Synonyms Antonyms) English Usage or Grammar Sentence Correction Fill in the blanks Cloze Passage Analogies or Reverse Analogies Jumbled Paragraph Meaning-Usage Match Summary Questions Verbal Reasoning Facts / Inferences / Judgements Reading Comprehension Logical Reasoning Number and Letter Series Calendars Clocks Cubes Venn Diagrams Binary Logic Seating Arrangement Logical Sequence Logical Matching Logical Connectives Syllogism Blood Relations Exam Pattern Duration of the examination has been increased to 180 minutes instead of 170 minutes. There will be three sections ,‘Quantitative Aptitude (QA)’, ‘Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)’ and Verbal and Reading Comprehens ion (VRC)’. QA and VRC will have 34 questions each, and DILR will have 32 questions. Some questions in each section may not be of multiple choice type. Instead, direct answers are to be typed on the screen. The scoring scheme for multiple-choice questions is as follows: Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks. An incorrect answer fetches -1. No marks are given or deducted for un-attempted questions. |
