I am from Bangalore , want to know what the age specified by CBSE for admission in 1st Standard ?

The age of the child seeking admission into the first standard in a CBSE must be five and a half, as If you are going to take admission for the academic year 2014-15 the child must be of five and a half years by the March 31st of the 2014. These restrictions are followed strictly.
