Hey Buddy!!! CCS University Meerut conducts Common Eligibility Test (CET) Exam for taking admission for PhD Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have Master’s degree with 55% in relevant subjects or equivalent grade point under the seven-point scale laid down by the UGC. A 5% relaxation in minimum marks at PG level shall be given to SC/ST and physical handicapped/disabled candidates The candidates appearing in Final year/Final Semester Exam are also eligible to apply; however, they will have to produce their final year/final Semester Exam result at the time of admission Exam Fee Fee Rs.1000/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates Syllabus The syllabus of this ‘Common Eligibility Test’ will be that prescribed for UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET-JRF Examinations Scheme of Test The Common Eligibility Test will be based on Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) and shall have two papers as detailed below: a) First Paper will contain multiple-choice objective type 100 questions of 100 marks of two hours’ duration and will be for assessing general awareness, academic aptitude and subject proficiency b) Second paper will contain 200 questions of 200 marks of three hours’ duration for assessing subject expertise, research aptitude and Subject Knowledge c) There shall be no negative marking Qualifying Percentage: There shall be minimum qualifying marks for the test, i.e. 50% marks on the aggregate but minimum 40% marks separately in each paper: A relaxation of 5% marks (on the aggregate and in each paper as well) will be provided to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/DA & (Physically and visually) Contact Detail: Chaudhary Charan Singh University CCS University Main Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh 200005 Phone: 096549 14231 |
