CDAC Mohali Exam

Hello sir I am Lavneet, living in Mohali and want to know what is the eligibility criteria required for PG Diploma in Automation SCADA Systems under C-DAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT) so will you please tell me about this to me??

Hey!!! CDAC a premier research establishment affiliated with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India offers PG diploma courses at 31 centers located in 19 cities of the country.

Eligibility criteria required for PG Diploma in Automation SCADA Systems under C-DAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT)

-Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (eg. BE/ B.Tech/ 4 years B.Sc Engg./ AMIE/ AIETE/ DoEACC B level etc) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science Engineering or related areas.

-PG in Engg. Sciences (eg. MCA/ M.Sc. Engg, M.Sc.(CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation etc)

-Post Graduates in Maths or allied areas (eg. Statistics, Applied Maths)

-The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination.


Course Fee:- The total fees for the course is Rs. 89,000


CCAT Paper Pattern:-

C-CAT has three sections (Section A, Section B, Section C) of one hour duration each. Depending on the course(s) applied by the candidate, he/she will have to either appear for just one test paper (Section A) or two test papers (Section A and Section B) or all the three test papers (Section A, Section B and Section C).

The medium of C-CAT is English.

Every section will have 50 objective-type questions of 3 marks each (maximum 150 marks for any one section).

Each objective-type question in C-CAT will have four choices as possible answers of which only one will be correct.

There will be +3 (plus three) marks for each correct answer and -1 (minus one) for each wrong answer. Multiple answers to a question will be treated as a wrong answer.

For each un-attempted question, 0 (zero) mark will be awarded./-


C-CAT Syllabus:-

Section A
English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning

Section B
Computer Fundamentals, C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communications & Networking, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Operating Systems

Section C
Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors
