So here in response of your question I am summarizing the various necessary details which are as:


Before providing you with the relevant information I would like to tell you that Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

.First I would like to tell you the Eligibility for CDS which is as:

1. Under the “Nationality” criteria the person appearing for this examination should be:

a) A citizen of India
b) A subject of Bhutan
c) A subject of Nepal
d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 with the of permanently settling in India'

e) A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

. After that here is the Age Limit, Gender and Marital Status:-

1.Indian Maritime Academy (IMA) :-

Aged between 18 and 22 years
Unmarried

2.Indian Naval Academy (INA):-

Unmarried
Aged between 18 and 22 years

3.Indian Airforce Academy (IAA):-
Unmarried
Aged between 18 and 22 years

The Educational Qualification are as follow:-

For IMA and Officer's Training Academy: - For this you should have a Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Indian Naval Academy: - You should have an Engineering Degree from a recognized university or institution.

For Air Force Academy:- For this you should have a Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Chemistry as subjects in 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering.

c. Paper 3: Elementary Mathematics
