Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) Pondicherry organizes CENTAC JET to provide admissions to the eligible contenders to various courses in engineering in the colleges in the state.

Eligibility Criteria:

A contender should be an Indian National.
Note: French Nationals who are residing in UT of Puducherry are also suitable for admissions through CENTAC JET, if enclosed by the Treaty of Cession.

Contenders must fulfil the Domicile necessities of Puducherry .

Contenders should have passed the HSC (academic) examination organized by the board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or the equal to be qualified to avail admissions.

Contenders must have obtained a minimum of 45 percentage of marks in 10+2 (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST applicants ) in Mathematics and Physics along with one of the optional subjects namely Chemistry / Bio-Technology, Computer Science / Biology (Botany and Zoology).

There is no lower age limit but the upper age limit is 21 years.

All those contenders who have passed their qualifying examination in the supplementary examination and have submitted their CENTAC application within the prescribed time should submit their mark sheet to the CENTAC within 7 days from the date of publication of results.
Candidates from states other than Puducherry may apply through JEE Main scores under the allotted 15% quota
