Central Bank of India Kisan Credit Card
Can you provide me the details of the Cent Kisan Tatkal Scheme under Central Kisan Credit Card offered by CBI or Central Bank of India? The purpose of Central Kisan Credit Card of Central Bank of India is provide Loan for farmers on the basis of their holdings for purchasing agricultural inputs including cash withdrawals for their production needs. Cent Kisan Tatkal Scheme Purpose To provide instant credit to the Farming community to meet their emergency requirements for Agricultural and domestic purposes for tiding over temporary difficulties Eligibility CKCC is provided to any farmer to cater to his short-term credit requirements. Farmers having good track record for past 2 years with Bank as a borrower or depositor and not being defaulter to any credit Institution would be considered. On selective basis, facility is extended to new account holders after exam of the land records as well as satisfactory report from other banks. It is issued to farmers in the form of card-cum-passbook incorporating the name, address, particulars of land holding, borrowing limit, validity period which serve both as an identity card as well as facilitate recording of transactions on an ongoing basis. The card, among others would provide for a passport size photograph of the holder. The borrower would be required to produce card-cum- passbook wherever he operates the A/c. Nature of facility Term Loan repayable within 5 years Quantum of Loan 50% of CKCC limit or 25% of annual income with a minimum Rs.1,000/- and maximum Rs.50,000/-. Security Charge on the existing securities obtained for CKCC. Interest Rate Base Rate + 0.50% Processing Charges Upto Rs.25,000/- : Nil Above Rs.25,000/- : @ Rs.120/- per lac or part thereof, Maximum Rs.20,000/-.
