Central Bank of India has educated BSE that in activity of the forces presented by Clause (an) of sub-area (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980, read with sub-condition (1) of Clause 3 and sub-proviso (1) of Clause 8 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government, vide Notification dated July 08, 2013, has named Shri Rajeev Rishi, Executive Director, as Chairman and Managing Director, Central Bank of India, for a time of five years from the date of assuming control charge on or after August 01, 2013 or until further requests, whichever is prior.
