Central Electronics Limited is a Govt. of India Enterprise under Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology.

It was set up in 1974 with a target to economically misuse the indigenous advances created by National Laboratories and R&D Institutions in the nation.

CEL has built up various items without precedent for the nation through its own R&D endeavors and in close relationship with the chief National and International Laboratories including Defense Laboratories.
