The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) was built up by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at kadaganchi of aland taluk Gulbarga, Karnataka.

The CUK, with its regional ward all over Karnataka has been started its exercises from the scholastic year starting August 2009 with regards to the reasoning of accomplishing and keeping up the most abnormal amounts of scholarly fabulousness, affectability to value and access in enrolment and enrollment and developing as a chief national instructive and research establishment in the nation.

Scholarly Features

The Academic Section of the Central University of Karnataka helps with the direct and opportune execution of the different scholastic exercises of the University. As of now the University runs sixteen Departments under eight Schools of Study and three Centers. Eight Integrated Masters programs, fifteen independent Masters Programs, and seventeen PhD projects are offered alongside a few projects under junior college plot.
