The Department of Law is an Emerging Teaching Centre at CUK. It is the first of departments to start an undergraduate course that is BALLB at the University.

A postgraduate programme that is LLM with an intake capacity of 10 scholars every year was also started in 2012 with an intention to make the department not only a teaching but also a research centre.

This centre of learning includes not only trained lawyers but also social scientists in order to develop the interdisciplinary strengths in the department at various levels. The department offers the following programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Course offered :

Integrated - B.A LL.B

The Master of Laws (LL.M) is a two-year postgraduate research degree programme.

The Department also offers the research degree programme in Law at doctoral level.
