Certified Business Analysis Professional;

The Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalTM designation is a professional certification from International Institute of Business AnalysisTM, for individuals with extensive business analysis experience.

With at least 7500 hours of hands-on BA experience, Certified Business Analysis Professional recipients are the elite, senior members of the BA community.

With thousands of individuals all over the world achieving the Certified Business Analysis Professional designation since the first Certified Business Analysis exam was held in November 2006, Certified Business Analysis Professional recipients are experts in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to determine the best solutions.

More and more companies are recognizing the Certified Business Analysis Professional designation and the value and expertise these professionals bring to their organizations.


Earning an International Institute of Business Analysis professional certification offers many benefits to both the individual and the organization employing or engaging them.

The Certified Business Analysis Professional exam, based on A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, is available in English, Japanese and German.

The exam is a computer based test with CBT locations all over the world.



Eligibility

To earn the CBAP certification, students must meet the following criteria:

Students must meet Minimum 7500 hours of BA work experience aligned with A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide) in the last 10 years

Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) recipient

Students must meet Minimum 900 hours in four of the six knowledge areas

Students must meet Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years

Applicants will want to consider the many professional benefits of earning the Certified Business Analysis Professional certification if Applicants have an advanced level of knowledge and experience and are working in any of the following roles:
Business analysis

Systems analysis

Consulting

Requirements analysis or management
